This is how I viewed the movie before it even came out. I've avoided it and won't see it. And by some of the reviews I've read (like yours) I did the right thing.

If it's just another movie about kids trying to get laid it's been done. Many, many times and done better.

Me and my friends went to see it, but i was the only one who came out disappointed.

Definently didnt live up to the hype.

Superbad is just another stereotypical average joe movie. You'll either fall for its crude wit and love it or not. The way I see it, the easily amused will laugh with the movie while the mature, intelligent people will laugh at it in disgust.
